The semesters run in accordance with the Western Cape school terms, not the Universities. The break between the third and fourth semester is reduced to one week, due to the examination period. No student is allowed to extend holiday periods without prior permission.
Dear Parent/Student.
Due to the the new structure of the student's time table and the very demanding hours on the students and staff, we have decided to implement a half-term break, to allow for a breathing space,a long weekend and to be able to attend certain teaching courses in 2010, and not interfere with the term.
The term dates for 2012 will be as follows:
Term 1: January 11 - March 20 Half-Term Break: February 17 - February 20
