| Keith Galloway trained in the U.K at the Mary Archbutt Theatre School in Manchester. He did his national service in Austria, where he was invited to become a soloist with the ballet company! Upon returning to London, Keith commenced his first West End Production, “Can-Can” at Drury Lane. Keith has a history with Drury Lane Theatre, having played it many times, and meeting his wife, Delia Sainsbury there, in the production of “The Four Musketeers”. Keith went on to appear in, direct or choreograph no less than seventeen musical shows, not only in the West End, but also in Holland and Denmark. His credits include “The Man of La Mancha”, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”, which he also directed, “ The Music Man”, which he has directed three times, “ Hallo Dolly”,“ When in Rome”, “ Our Man Crichton”, “Bells are Ringing” and numerous others He also choreographed and appeared extensively on television in the UK and the USA. | ![]() |
| After arriving in South Africa, Keith’s television show “Magic Maestro, Please”, which he conceived and choreographed, won the first Artes Award. He went on to direct and choreograph numerous television productions for SABC, including “Sing”, which ran for three years, “That’s Variety”, “Spotlight On…”and numerous specials. His children’s programmes include “O2B ME”, “Ziggy Zigombot”, which he presented with Delia, “Wot” and “Professor Lackbrain”. He choreographed the award winning production of “Mame”, for Brickhill-Burke. Keith wrote and directed over twenty original shows in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, and wrote and choreographed extensively for corporate theatre and product launches, including Mitsubishi, “Miss Ladybird” for the OK Bazaar for six years, and the launch of the film “Chicago”. His production of “ It’s not Where You Start”, which gave performing opportunities to over forty students, transferred to the Baxter Theatre, and was then chosen to re-open the State Theatre in Pretoria. His primary aim was to give the students at the WTS as many performing opportunities as possible. He was in charge of production at the college and ran the Waterfront Theatre Company. His Designations have now been taken over by Delia Sainsbury. | |
